Christmas Party

We went to a Christmas party with our old lifegroup this Sunday night. Matthew loved getting to play with all his old buddies including Caroline and Amelia again. Here's some cute ones of Matthew and his boy buddies and Libby and her two little girl pals. We all miss our old group but are enjoying getting to know some new people and really like the short drive :)

Visit to Santa

We saw Santa Claus in Gastonia on Saturday afternoon this weekend. He was so nice and Matthew loved sitting on his lap. He thought it was funny that Libby was on his lap too. Matthew didn't really understand to tell him what he wanted but loved it when Santa gave him a candy cane. You can see a picture of how much he loved the candy cane here. He ate the whole thing.

Playgroup

This morning we had Elijah, Andrew, and Sadie (and their moms of course) over for playgroup. Matthew loves getting to see them most weeks. It's so sweet seeing him look forward to playing with his buddies. Here's what I hear on the days we get together "play Andrew, and Cornky (Courtney), Play Jijah, n Cornky, and Sally, and Saie (Sadie), and Jijah"-repeat over and over and over!!!

I think Libby enjoyed herself too today :)

We had a great weekend in WV this weekend. It was busy though. We saw my mom's family in Sophia and Dad's parents in Beckley. Then we went to the big town of Newton (sarcasm) to stay with "Johnny and Queaks" as Matthew calls them. Matthew is loving the kitchen Johnny gave him and the toys he got from my aunts Carol and Karen! It was an early Christmas!

Here's pic from last Thursday when Clint had off work-he and Libby were sleeping great, one of Matthew getting some new balls from Aunt Karen, and another attempt at the Christmas card pictures. We've got a good one now that looks a lot like this one- but this isn't it!

2 month appt.

Libby went in for her 2 mo appt today. She weighed a whopping 10 pounds and 10 ounces. She was 22 3/4 inches long. She pretty avg for weight and a little above for height. I guess she gets to wear her 0-3 mo clothes for a few more months now :) The Dr said everything was fine.

Also, Matthew got his flu shot and did GREAT! He whined for about a second afterwards and then he kept thanking the nurse. It was so funny. He knew he was getting a sticker for that and was excited. Talk to you all sooN!

Christmas Card trouble

I've put some pics together and can't get them to print right so these won't be our Christmas card this year but thought you guys might enjoy seeing them. My few hours of work didn't go to waste now. :)

Picture Day

On Friday, I went by myself (a mistake!) with the kids to get pictures made. We ended up with a few really good ones but got none with the kiddos together except the one below-Matthew was bribed into giving Libby a kiss and did it so quick that the photographer couldn't snap it.

Matthew at the Park

We had a great day on Saturday the 11th. It was a beautiful day in the 70s. We won't see many of them for a while. Matthew decided to give Mommy a scare as Daddy was taking this picture.

Pumpkin patch kids

Here are Matthew and Libby both in pumpkins in Oct of their birth year. Don't look a think alike! But, they are both so cute.

Halloween

Here we are on Halloween night. Matthew loved trick or treating and Libby did a great job of looking cute (of course)!
