Christmas 2007

Christmas was a great day for us this year! Both kids had a blast. We learned that tutus can be used around your waist or on your head as a hat. We also learned that a box of packing popcorn is a terrific toy. We hope you all had a great day as well!

Cruise!

We took a cruise with both our families to celebrate our parents' 40th anniversaries (Hyden's August 10 and Holt's coming on Jan 20). We left from Tampa on Carnival Inspiration on Dec 8 and returned on the 13th. There were two sea days and two port days. We went to Grand Cayman and Calica (near Cozumel). It was a lot of fun. Matthew loved all the Camp Carnival activities and Libby just loved all the attention.

Here we are in the pool

Here we are riding the tender to snorkeling on Grand Cayman. No pictures of us snorkeling yet-they weren't on digital cameras.

Here we are taking Mom and the kids over on the tender boat. Happy birthday Mom.

Ron and Phyllis took a tour of the island. Here's Ron in Hell.

The day we went to Calica, Ron, Phyllis, Mike, and Dad took a tour of the Mayan ruins at Tulum.

We Tried!

We tried the other night when we put our Christmas tree up to get a good picture for our Christmas cards. I don't think any of these made the cut though. We'll try again before we leave on our trip next week!

Bobcats Game

Uncle Mike got tickets to the Bobcats season opener game and shared them with Dad, the kids, and myself. Clint had to work that night. Matthew enjoyed watching his first basketball game. He wanted to go on the court and play too. He got a t-shirt, his face painted, and papa even got him a basketball. Thanks Uncle Mike!

Trick or Treat

We had fun trick or treating tonight in the neighborhood. The kids were adorable. Libby was growling like a real little panther. Matthew gave a good "Aye Matey" too!

1st year collages

I just finished the kids 1st year collages (only a little behind on Matthew's :) There's a picture from every month starting with one a day or two after they were born and ending with their 1 year party. So sweet to see how they grew.

Halloween Shirts!

Here's a picture of the kiddos in their Halloween tshirts. Matthew was so proud of his shirt and well, a girl in a ponytail just makes my day. The kids are doing really well. Libby's taking a few steps on her own now. Happy Fall!

Libby's Birthday!!

We celebrated Libby's first birthday last night with family and had a great time. She's been such a sweet baby and we are so blessed to have her as a daughter. We're thinking she may become our little daredevil-maybe just by nature of being the second child. She's on the brink of walking. She's taking a step here and there, just not quite there. And Mommy is LOVING putting little Ms. thing's hair up in pigtails and ponytails. Here are some pictures. She LOVED her cake!

Day out with Thomas!

We went with some of our good buddies today to see Thomas at the Transportation Museum. The boys had a ball! The girls did too-They just didn't realize it as much :) We rode in a train car following Thomas, watched Bob the Builder perform, got tattoos, played in the bounce houses, listened to music, and much more. Lots of fun!!
