4 Months Old!!!

Libby is 4 months old today. We've had a good week so far. The picture of Libby by herself is from today, the others are from yesterday. Everyone is doing well. The kids are getting over colds.

Getting bigger!

We've had a good week or so since I last added something here. Libby is using her Exersaucer some now and seems to like it in short spurts. Matthew likes holding LIbby in short spurts too now. He is the sweetest big brother to her. He loves to make her laugh or help her to stop crying. I think he thinks singing Jingle Bells will solve all her problems because he sings it to her every time she cries. Libby's getting so big now-she's in her 3-6 month clothes and is starting to really have some of those baby rolls that most babies have.

The Zoo!

On Saturday, we went to the zoo in Columbia. It was the perfect day for it-not hot, and not cold. Matthew loved seeing all the animals but I think his favorites were the giraffes, the orange (muddy) elephants, the "sleeping" bear, and the penguins. He thought the penguins were going to jump through the glass and get him. He had a great time and so did Libby. Gaga and Papa came along for the trip. The zoo was close enough that we were home by 330! It was great.

Christmas and after

Hi all, It's been a while since I've uploaded pictures to share. Just getting to it today since before Christmas. We all had a great holiday! Libby's first Christmas was great for Matthew-and her, but she doesn't know the difference of course. We celebrated with Clint's family on the Saturday before Christmas and had a great time eating seafood and opening gifts. I'd say the favorite gifts for Matthew there were the Tigger suit and the big truck that hauls hotwheels.

Then we went to my Uncle Joe's on Christmas Eve and had dinner and played. Matthew had a great time with my cousins Jordan and Jillian. This was the first time he's gotten to sit a "kid" table for a holiday meal. Libby was held plenty.

Christmas morning was at our house by ourselves and it was a great time for us. Libby watched all the action from her bouncy seat. Matthew loved his new train and his race track especially. The drums have been lots of fun too. Libby got a shopping cart full of "food" that she's sharing beautifully with her big brother :)

We went to my folks house for a couple of hours after that for breakfast and to open gifts with them. The Elmo toolbench, etc were a hit and the foam swords all the boys got were too.

Matthew had so much fun playing all morning and afternoon that he fell asleep at the dinner table.

That night we played games with my family and Rhonda and Michael. It was a great holiday!
