8 month pictures

They're growing too fast. She's crawling now even! Anyhow, these turned our pretty well I think! She's a cutie and her brother is too!

Carowinds play day

We went to Carowinds today with some of our pals. Here we all are starting on the left: Elijah, Clayton, Sadie, Andrew, Libby, and Matthew. We went swimming and then to ride the train and the carousel. It was a blast.

Angel Oak

On our way out of Charleston, we went to visit the Angel Oak tree. It's said to be 1400 years old, the oldest living thing in the world. It was beautiful and something to see!

The Beach-Isle of Palms

We just got back last night from the beach with Graham, Vanessa, Mike, and my parents. It was a fun but too fast trip. Matthew made friends right away when we got to the beach and played with this little girl for about an hour. Libby managed to sleep on the beach and we all had a good time. Didn't get any pictures from the pool but Matthew's swimming lessons have helped some I think.

On Tuesday as we got into town, we stopped at Patriot's Point and visited the USS Yorkshire as well as one of the submarines there. Very interesting. Matthew loved getting in the planes, seeing all the boats, and working the guns.

Memorial Day weekend!

We loved having the WV Emery clan come down to visit again. Vanessa and Graham made it from England and they are married now (thanks to NY city!). Kristi and Kathy's families made it down too. We had a great time shopping, visiting the whitewater center, and playing in our backyard. Matthew loved having all his "friends" here to play with and Libby didn't get put down for more than a few minutes at a time. It was great. I think I managed to get a picture of everyone included here. My question is- where was Cody during the group picture??

8 months old

She's a sweet one! This was from the beach and she had a good time. Libby's working on crawling-not there yet. I think within a month it will happen.
