We went to Apple country this Saturday. Told the kids it was a great adventure and they did love it. We had a blast doing the corn maze and came home with more apples than we know what to do with. No worries though, we love them so it shouldn't be too long before they are gone.

For any of you not on facebook, here are some recent pictures of our family. We've so enjoyed this last month. Our first cousin, Maddison's birth has been the highlight! We've also gone to Carowinds, Raleigh, graduated from preschool today, and just been having fun with our everyday routine!

Baby Maddison - April 16th birthday!

Baby Maddison made her appearance at 7:00 last night. She weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and was 21 inches long. Rhonda and Michael are obviously in love as are the rest of Maddie's family. I know in my house Libby's happy to "be the big girl now, not the baby" and Matthew is loving that he has a cousin. Can't wait for the kids to meet her but we'll wait till Matt's kicked this virus first.
I know she has one really proud Aunt Sara, Uncle Clint, and cousins in our house!

We got our wish! About 5 inches of snow last night. We had fun going out and seeing the flakes fall last night and then playing in it this morning.

New Beds

So, last night was Libby's first night in a big girl bed! She is so excited and all because of the 9.99 Hello Kitty "sheeps." She's calling it her cat bed. Anyway, she did great. Matthew also got a new bed and he loves it. They are bunk beds that we are leaving apart for right now at least. That's why they both got new ones in the same day!

We didn't get much snow a few weeks ago but we did let the kids go out and feel it. Maybe next time we'll be able to make a snowman!

Valentine's Day Party

Daddy went to Matthew's preschool today to get some pics of their Valentine's day "party" stuff. Matthew loved having him come. Here are a couple that Daddy got. Matthew wrote each of his classmates names on their cards-we thought that was a big deal. He gets so excited over stuff like this. It's definitely a holiday for kids to love!
